Projects:

  • My first project aims at studying the role played by the thoracic neural circuitry on the interaction between cervical and lumbosacral locomotor generators.
  • My second research project aims at determining how these locomotor generators influence the activity of respiratory spinal neurons (more precisely phrenic, intercostal and abdominal motoneurons).
  • My last project aims at understanding the role played by spinal (at the cervical level) and pontine (namely the parabrachial nucleus) relays in locomotor-respiratory couplings.
