Memory Interacting Networks, Drugs and Stress (M.I.N.D.S.)
Our team investigate how positive and negative emotions influence learning and memory processes in both normal and chronic conditions (effects of stress, drugs of abuse, normal and pathological aging).
To achieve this goal we use multiple techniques including a wide range of behavioral paradigms in rodents, transgenic mouse models, neurochemical approaches (microdialysis, corticosterone assays), in vivo and in vitro electrophysiology, immunostaining and epigenetics.
