“Le sport, bon pour la santé ? Gare aux commotions”

by Loïc Grattier - published on

The team Brain Molecular Imaging is widely cited for its expertise in traumatic brain injury (TBI) in a recent article entitled “Le sport, bon pour la santé ? Gare aux commotions” published by the journal “Science et Avenir”. Published at the same time as the new movie “Creed” (the last addition to the Rocky saga), it highlights the long-term consequences of repeated mild TBI in sports and the risk of chronic traumatic encephalopathy. This issue underscores the need for research on mild TBI and risk factors associated with neurodegenerative diseases.
