Powerful and intuitive analysis system, composed of a workstation designed for 3D processing (processor 4 cores Intel Xeon 3.7GHz, 64GB of RAM, graphics card AMD FirePro8100, 4.2 TFLOPS single-precision floating-point performance, 8GB GDDR5 memory, several TB of storage): no more limit to view and process your image stacks.
Talking about the software: the state of the art: Neurolucida 360 (mbf-bioscience)
With Neurolucida 360, you can automatically reconstruct neurons and detect spines and synapses in a 3-dimensional environment to obtain reliable data about the size, shape, and complexity of neurons. Neurolucida 360 works with 3D and 2D images acquired with confocal, two-photon, and fluorescence microscopes or slide scanners. And it excels at handling very large images such as whole slide images or images of tissue cleared with CLARITY, Scale, iDISCO, and more.
This analysis workstation is available at booking on INCIA glpi (http://services.incia.u-bordeaux1.fr/glpi) under the name "station d’analyse 3d neurolucida", it is located on the Carreire site 3rd floor room 4
This system is not exclusively reserved for neurons analysis and can allow the visualization, processing and analysis of large images (with ImageJ (Fiji) or cell-Profiler for example).
Don’t hesitate to schedule an appointment to evaluate your experiment or for training with gilles courtand.
