The 4th autism plan was launched at the palais de l'Elysée by President Macron

On July 6, 2017, the 4th autism plan was launched at the palais de l’Elysée by President Macron, accompanied by his wife. This important event took place in the presence the Secretary of State for Persons with Disabilities Sophie Cluzel, the Minister of Health Agnès Buzyn, her counterparts in Research Frédérique Vidal and Education Jean-Michel Blanquer, clinicinas, scientists and representatives of parents’ associations.
The important place that clinicians and researchers working on autism at the INCIA occupies at the national level was acknowledged by the presence of Dr Anouck AMESTOY, Member of the CNRS, UMR 5287, INCIA and Coordinator of the CRA Aquitaine, Pôle de psychopsychaitrie de l’Enfant et l’Adolescent, CH Charles Perrens).
The President announced the planning of the preparatory meetings for this 4th plan, which will take place from July to December 2017. These meetings will be held throughout France, in order to be as close as possible to the territories
Five areas of work have been announced, including a specific focus for research, innovation and university training.
