Alexandra Reichova is joining the team DMS as new post-doc.
Alexandra Reichova successfully defended her PhD in august 2020 under the supervision of Dr. Bakos at Biomedical Research Center, Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, Slovakia. She focused on the investigation of the effects of neuropeptide oxytocin in the developing brain and how a disruption in the oxytocin signalling cascades is potentially contributing to the etiology of neurodevelopmental disorders. In collaboration with prof. Muscatelli (INMED Marseille France) she has participated in the ongoing project focused on the disrupted oxytocinergic system in Prader Willi syndrome using a mouse model. Up to date, Alexandra Reichova is first-author/co-author of 8 publications in the field of neuroscience and developmental neurobiology.
